Far West Texas yawns awake. 

We doubled the population of Pandale last night, and our humble film crew kept the nutria company as they grazed the Pecos Riverbank. The katydids and lapping waves were our lullaby until the hot sun rose to greet the new day. 

Now, making our way through the winding backroads to Colorado City, we pull over often to capture Jerod and Brandon riding through the West Texas wilderness. I feel close to a friend when we stop through her hometown of Ozona. I can picture the life here I’ve only heard about through nostalgia. A long day is always made shorter by good company and purpose.
